My prayer tonight seems but a whisper in the night
Not loud enough to shout through all the earth
For my prayers go out to those very far away
For those who are lost in a world that we will never hope or dream to know
A world without the blessings that we take for granted everyday
Disease, Poverty, Isolation, Loss
I can only pray that a lifetime of Despair will lead to an Eternity of Bliss
That all the innocents of this world who know only hardship will find a life of Peace and Prosperity
It is only a Prayer
A Whisper in the Night
But it is as powerful as a storm which sweeps across the land
Because within it lies the Spirit of Hope
For those who deserve a second chance in Life
